Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has a new tumbleweed Pokémon with an interesting new evolution mechanic and the potential to be a top-tier competitive Pokémon. Among the many new Pokémon discovered in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is Rambling, a new Grass/Ghost-type Pokémon that is literally a sentient tumbleweed. Rambling has a dark past, having apparently been a human soul who was not able to carry on to the afterlife and eventually got tangled up with dried turf and became a Pokémon. Provided that Rambling is a common Pokémon in both the Amado Desert and the East Province's desert area, this suggests that a lot of souls got caught into yard and became a Pokémon. Rambling evolves into Brambleghast, an even larger tumbleweed Grass/Ghost-type Pokémon covered in thick thorns. Rambling does not develop when it reaches a particular level.
